A Cream of Pearl and Cosmos

I’m so tired. Small little thing, I’m so tired. Hang my coat on the counter, and I’ll get out the cooking. Bring me your spine at the table, and I’ll bring you mine in the air. I’m the lamb, and you’re the slaughter. I’m asleep, and you’re the moon. Can I hold you in the pit of my pockets? Can you hold me, small little thing? I want to fold and fold until I’m just like you. And you wish you could be seen.
