{come pass}

I.

one can look all day online and miss a tumblr message that replaces the dropped pin with the sigh of a ghost:

every time i bruise, my ghost blushes cranberry red next to the turkey in mom’s stomach. sister played outside with a broken arm and the wind turned her into a constellation. i wish upon a star to live ‘the day my dog died’ for the people upstairs depositing emeralds in their lungs like loose change in a jar. my childhood counts the quarters for staying in bed and the toy i want most is self love
